Some Odd Girl August Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone! Since I got the new October Afternoon Cakewalk paper I've been wanting to use with the uber pretty Some Odd Girl Stamp Baker Mae! Don't those little animals look like they're stoked to see Baker Mae with that big cupcake to add to their table!:) I followed the sketch pretty closely execpt that I used a top note shape instead of a circle. I couldn't find my circle cutter and didn't feel like dragging out my cricut. So I pulled out my new Tim Holtz Hanging Sign Die and used that. Here's the sketch that's provided by Some Odd Girl:

Pretty simple, huh? Hope you can join in on the challenge too=) Here's the link: Some Odd Girl August Sketch Challenge TFL!

Shine On!

Good Morning! Today I made this card and really had a ton of help from the papers I used. I used the My mind's eye Howdy Doody papers to make that boardwalk. All it needed was some Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a regular old pen to draw in some nails and voila it's a beach boardwalk! The sand was made with the Echo Park Paradise Beach paper and the sky was handmade with several tim holtz distress inks. And the main focus is the Sunny Mae from Some Odd Girl. tfl!

Tug my heartstrings- SOG Color Challenge

Hello everyone! Today I made this card for the Some Odd Girl Color Inspiration Challenge for April. The colors are brown, beige, pink and light blue. Which is such a cute color combo! I had a bit of a hard time making this card because I made this in my dorm and only had a small box of things I brought such as my prismas, Memento Ink, a few stamp sets, some twine and a bottle of Star Dust Stickles. Oh and white cardstock. So I made this card just with white cardstock and stamps and twine. It was hard not having any flowers or die cuts or lots of paper to choose from but I really enjoyed using my stamps as the focus especially this In Stitches Tia(Isn't she sweet?:) That's it for now!TFL!
Materials:
Some Odd Girl In Stitches Tia Stamp(Girl, Buttons, Sentiment)
Brown and Pink Bakers Twine
A bit of Stickles next to the sentiment
