Thanks a Bunch Card

Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a fabulous day because I sure am! This is my first post as June Guest Designer at Ginger Snap Scraps!

Today the theme is Fruits and Veggies. So I went with fruits and made this Thanks a Bunch card with my cricut and new papers I got at Ginger Snap Scraps. I cut out the strawberries from the Cricut Preserves Cartridge and wanted them to look a bit more realistic. So with a lead pencil I had lying around my desk I made some tick marks on the strawberries and there ya go, my strawberries have seeds! Pretty nifty, right? I then "filled" my big jar with Candy Cane Stickles so it looks like Sweet Jam. Afterwards, I inked up the whole card with my Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink and that's all! It came together pretty quickly but I still think it packs quite a punch! Thanks for stopping by! Hello Everyone! Have you ever not been able to sleep and got up to craft? Well I had never had until last night. I kept trying to sleep eventually falling asleep only to wake up an hour later. Ugh. So instead of watching infomercials on tv I just decided to get up and craft. Which is a lot more fun and productive! I had this idea in my head for this card yesterday and had cut the pieces out with my cricut to make the card today. I made this for the All that Scraps challenge Anything Goes.

Pool Card!

I made this for the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge "Summer Lovin". I made it into a pool card because I absolutely love going to the pool! Lately I have been going to the pool in my apartment to relax and do a bit of swimming and I've realized how much I like being able to go to the pool or beach practically the whole year. So for this card I pulled out my H2O cart which I bought back when it came out and had only used it once. I also altered the TGF Cheeky Beach a little bit. I didn't stamp her mouth and drew one so I could make it seem like she had a bit of popsicle on her face and she could have a more playful look to her.TFL!

"Peel Better Soon" Card!

Hi everyone! This week has just been so hectic what with college applications, homework and everything else. Luckily, I finally had some time to make a card! Oh and I got to use my new paper collection, the Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety Collection I got from HSN! Thanksgiving Layout

This turkey is so adorable! So as I said before I'm making a scrapbook with my nephew with his kindergarten pics. He inked up the whole CAC turkey and the leaves. I did all the designing and cutting again. I've got him loving those Tim holtz inks. Here it is:TFL!
